The Warehouse Supervisor controls all warehouse operations with the primary objective to maintain optimum stocks of all raw materials and packaging to support production requirements in line with company procedures. We are looking for an individual who has experience of working within the food industry, ideally experience within Warehouse, and who is looking to develop their career to supervisor level.

What you will contribute:

  • To maintain orderly & hygienic warehouses in accordance with company health & safety guidelines and perform risk assessments when required.
  • Determine forward usages of all raw and packaging materials from the production programme and sales forecasts & order sufficient materials to support production requirements when needed, key interfaces – vendors, procurement, planning & operations.
  • To maintain correct stock rotation of all raw materials and packaging using FIFO principles. Ensuring that procedures are in place to ensure effective and traceable allocation on materials to production.
  • Supporting the warehouse Leader with flexible ways of working i.e. picking up the operative’s duties for holiday/absence leave, departmental administration, vendor management, staff management & KPI’s.

What you will bring:

  • Experience working within the Food or FMCG industry.
  • Experience of using SAP and MRP systems to drive visibility and improved service.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to the demands of a fast-changing high growth business.
  • Strong people management and interpersonal and communication skills for all levels.
