Exciting position to train and become a Warehouse Supervisor.
Job Purpose: You will train to become a Warehouse Supervisor that controls all warehouse operations with the primary objective to maintain optimum stocks of all raw materials and packaging to support production requirements in line with company procedures.
What you will contribute:
- To maintain orderly and hygienic warehouses in accordance with company health and safety guidelines and perform risk assessments when required.
- Determine forward usages of all raw and packaging materials from the production programme and sales forecasts and order sufficient materials to support production requirements when needed, key interfaces – vendors, procurement, planning and operations.
- To maintain correct stock rotation of all raw materials and packaging using FIFO principles, ensuring that procedures are in place to ensure effective and traceable allocation of materials to production.
- Supporting the warehouse leader with flexible ways of working, i.e. picking up the operative’s duties for holiday/absence leave, departmental administration, vendor management, staff management and KPIs.
