The Opportunity: Onsite Payroll & Benefits Advisor, to work as part of a team for all payroll and benefits administration.
What you will contribute
- Processing two monthly payrolls, including hours, overtime, SSP, holiday pay
- Managing payroll data, cut-off periods and estimated hours calculations.
- Posting payroll journals and supporting payroll-related accounting entries.
- Monitoring the time and attendance system, investigating absences and missed clock-ins.
- Acting as a liaison between employees and HR advisors, while supporting general office/training administration as and when required
- Preparing P11ds and assisting with year end procedures
- Support in the preparation for the monthly pension contribution file
- Preparation of the monthly HMRC payment and other ad hoc BACS payments
What you will bring
- Previous payroll and benefits experience, ideally processing monthly payrolls (Hourly/Salaried)
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with payroll systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deal with employees at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to manage deadlines effectively.
Hours: 37.5hrs a week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience.
