The Opportunity: We are looking for a motivated Factory Trainer to join our HR team. Willing to be flexible to cover both days and late shifts, you will play a key role in the effective delivery of our training requirements needed for our site as well as driving compliance via our Nurture platform.

What you will contribute:

  • Delivering a continuous programme of factory-based training focused on skills, knowledge, and procedures, as part of the HR team. This includes competency assessment and formal sign-off.
  • Facilitate relevant classroom-based training across all site functions to support operational excellence.
  • Guide and support new starters through a structured induction and the Compulsory Training Route.
  • Maintain up-to-date training matrices and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance, fully automating them where possible.
  • Build and maintain strong working rapport with key stakeholders across the business.

What you will bring:

  • Deliver ongoing training programmes covering skills, knowledge, and procedures, both on-site in factories and in classroom settings.
  • Maintain accurate training matrices and records to ensure compliance and visibility.
  • Assess and verify competency, providing formal sign-off where appropriate.
  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Identify and address individual and team training needs, including updates and refreshers.
  • Develop, agree, and implement new procedures in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Design and deliver bespoke training courses tailored to operational and learner needs.
  • Support new starters through a structured induction and the Compulsory Training Route (CTR).
  • Ensure timely and relevant training interventions.
  • Communicate training outcomes and needs to relevant managers to support workforce development.
  • Ensure all products meet or exceed established company and customer standards for food safety, quality, and product integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Formal training qualification desirable (training will be provided).
  • Experience of working in a food production environment desirable.

  • Able to build, produce, and manipulate data to provide meaningful reports.
  • Innovative to look at new ways of working to remove the reliance on paper.
