Role Purpose:
- 5 Year Multi Skilled Apprenticeship Mechanical / Electrical
- Train, develop and achieve all aspects of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
- To support and continuously improve reliability and availability through RCAD & Data analysis
- Maintain Bakery Equipment to ensure required performance is achieved
- Identify areas around the asset base for improvements based on accurately compiled data and knowledge.
- Developing ideas and delivering solutions in an evolving and progressive manufacturing environment
- Comply with and support Site H&S
Role Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Proactively support all initiatives to improve safety, quality and cost throughout the Business.
- Gather knowledge and transfer knowledge of plant and assets so operatives can run the asset to its best potential.
- Deliver PIP projects. Ensure the proposed benefits are delivered.
- Deliver improved factory efficiencies through the development of equipment performance
- Support Production Team to ensure equipment effectiveness
- Fault find on existing equipment.
- Continuous Improvements – Improve current equipment performance
- Assist in the control of all legislative testing and inspection requirements
- Operate CMMS System
- Work cross functionally to deliver improvements to Safety, Quality, and cost around site.
- To respond to requests from Production colleagues & Front-Line Managers for assistance when requested.
- Support the achievement of the Daily Production Plan
- Ensure the target OEE of all plant is achieved.
- Ensure all statutory and company system requirements are met, including Safety, HACCP , GDPR, Security and Audits.
- Undertake relevant Training when required
- Ensure new equipment and machinery is to Business Standard, suitable and fulfils the criteria for which it has been purchased.
- Assist in the control of contractors. Ensure all contractors are aware of their responsibilities and work in a safe and correct manner observing our safety and hygiene requirements

- Operate in a safe and correct manner within safety regulations. Ensure the site is a safe place to work for yourself and others.
- Adopt and support good hygiene and housekeeping practices, ensuring others do the same.
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are complied with in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act.
- Make proper use of safety aids, appliances, equipment, and any PPE supplied by the Business.
- Use correct tools and equipment appropriate to the job and ensure they are kept in good condition and tested correctly.
What you need to be able to join us:
