To work within a busy logistics department, take daily stock counts of all equipment including baskets, pallets and any other equipment, monitor the use of baskets delivered and returned to and from 3rd parties, carry out spot checks in accordance with business requirements, the issuing of documentation which supports equipment deliveries & collections, demonstrate the ability to work flexibly with the despatch/distribution teams.
What You Will Contribute
- To take a daily stock count of all equipment including baskets, pallets and any other equipment and record through the business KPI’s, the managing of all equipment levels.
- Adherence to SOPs, CICs, SSOWs, WIs, procedures and risk assessments.
- Raise H&S observations and demonstrate quality awareness & reporting (product, out of spec, equipment, pests, GRNs, damaged bread coming through from checkpoint).
- Understand products and your part in the Despatch Process as well as being a Buddy for new starters.
- Understand audit requirements.
- Ensure you adhere to clean as you go processes that are in place.
- Adhere to continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Will Bring
- At least one year’s experience in a manufacturing organisation, preferably food or similar.
- Good written and oral communication, SAP, Microsoft office.
- Self‑motivated, team player with good attention to detail and the ability to solve problems.
- Flexible in approach to work to meet demands.
- FLT (desirable but not necessary as training will be provided).
