A warm, traditional private household in Kensington is seeking an experienced Housekeeper/Cook to join their long‑standing team. The family values stability, kindness, and a calm, capable presence — their current live‑in Housekeeper has been with them for 20 years. This is a hands‑on role combining daily housekeeping, family‑style cooking, laundry, wardrobe care, and household organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning and immaculate presentation of the home
- Deep cleaning during travel periods
- High‑level laundry, wardrobe management & seasonal organisation
- Caring for plants and flowers
- Light healthy cooking, mainly for One Principal
- Errands: dry cleaning, repairs, household shopping
- Stock management and reordering supplies
- Preparing the home each evening for the next day
- Working collaboratively with the daily Housekeeper and wider household team
