Live-In Housekeeper / Family Assistant for a busy vibrant family with good family cooking skills. Separate Entrance, ensuite accommodation is provided within the family home.
Location: Notting Hill
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 plus overtime or time off in lieu
Working days: Monday - Friday 7.00am - 8.00pm with a three hour break in the middle of the day.
Main elements of the role will include:
- General cleaning to a very high standard including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy, and immaculately presented at all times - good knowledge of caring for antique furniture is a must.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and well-presented.
- Extensive laundry duties, including washing, drying, and ironing (bed sheets are sent out for laundry).
- Excellent knowledge of caring for delicate high value clothing ensuring it’s cared for according to specific instructions.
- Shopping and ensuring kitchen is fully stocked with all everyday ingredients and family’s preferences.
- Cooking and meal preparation of healthy family meals - versatile range of skills would be fantastic.
- Ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Taking in deliveries, organising returns when needed.
- Liaising with the family PA for any large purchases.
- Take their dog for a walk if needed.
- Driving or accompanying by taxi their boys aged 10 and 11 to various activities and supervising them when necessary.
- Overseeing contractors and ensuring their work is carried out to the family’s requirements.
