Contract Business Analyst - Pensions & Regulatory Change
Location: Wolverhampton (Hybrid)
Rate: Β£450-Β£500 per day (Outside IR35)

We're supporting a Midlands-based organisation undergoing a significant pensions and regulatory change programme and are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to help understand, document and improve business processes across the organisation.
This is a highly stakeholder-facing role, ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with the business. You'll spend time engaging with teams, understanding how they operate, what systems and tools they use, how information is captured and shared, and translating this into clear process maps, requirements and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews across the business.
Investigate and document current processes, systems and ways of working.
Understand how information flows between teams and departments.
Map end-to-end business processes and operational workflows.
Produce process maps, swimlane diagrams and business documentation.
Gather, analyse and document business and regulatory requirements.
Support pensions and regulatory change initiatives.
Identify process improvements, risks, gaps and dependencies.
Work with business and technology teams to support systems integration activity.
Assist in designing future-state processes and operating models.
Experience Required
Proven experience as a Business Analyst within pensions, financial services or regulated environments.
Strong background in process mapping and business process analysis.
Experience working on regulatory change programmes.
Ability to gather and document requirements from a diverse stakeholder group.
Experience supporting systems integration, transformation or change projects.
Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
Experience using Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, Jira or similar tools.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
