Our growing 3PL client is seeking a Key Account Manager to play a pivotal role in nurturing and developing customer relationships. This full-time position, based in the Northamptonshire site.

What you'll do:

  • Implement and sustain the Customer Engagement System including development of the strategic account plan
  • Support the customer to maintain competitive advantage through its operations and services
  • Understand at a strategic level the customer's business and its potential challenges and opportunities
  • Identify initiatives that enhance the service offerings to the customer and maximise efficiency
  • Lead and encourage the development of key relationships throughout the account team
  • Coordinate all renewal activity to ensure successful retention of customer contracts at expected levels of profitability

What you bring:

  • Experience within a Key Account Management position within 3PL environment
  • Ability to interact at senior level with high impact and credibility
  • Experience in building and developing relationships across all levels and functions
  • Strong strategic and planning skills with a bias towards action and execution
  • Experience of developing and delivering commercially successful account growth
  • Knowledge of End-to-End Supply Chain process ability to identify potential value streams (desirable)
  • Understanding of the principles of continuous improvement or lean methodologies (desirable)
