Our client based in Warwickshire is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their business. The role is paying between Β£26,500 - Β£31,000 and requires 5 days on-site per week. This role would also be suitable for recent finance graduates.
What you'll do:
- You will process daily financial transactions including invoices, payments, and receipts with accuracy and attention to detail.
- You will maintain up-to-date records of all financial activity using accounting software and spreadsheets.
- You will assist with monthly reconciliations of bank statements and ledgers to ensure consistency and reliability.
- You will support the preparation of management accounts by gathering relevant data and compiling reports.
- You will help monitor cash flow by tracking incoming and outgoing funds and reporting any discrepancies promptly.
- You will collaborate closely with other departments to resolve queries related to expenses or payments in a considerate manner.
- You will participate in regular team meetings to share updates on financial processes and contribute ideas for improvement.
- You will gradually take on more analytical responsibilities such as reviewing trends in expenditure and income as your experience grows.
- You will provide administrative support for audits by organising documentation and responding to information requests efficiently.
- You will uphold confidentiality standards when handling sensitive financial information, demonstrating trustworthiness at all times.
