Our client, Vanguard Asset Management, is seeking an experienced Email Marketing Manager to join their dynamic team in Manchester. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team of specialists and manage all aspects of email marketing operations for both retail and professional investor audiences across Europe. What you\’ll do:
As an Email Marketing Manager at Vanguard Asset Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company\’s digital marketing strategy. You will work closely with various stakeholders across B2B and D2C businesses to plan and execute Vanguard’s comprehensive email marketing programme. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of two email marketing specialists, overseeing the governance of marketing data, designing, building, testing, and dispatching HTML email campaigns via Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will also analyse campaign metrics to provide insightful feedback to the marketing team. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting any issues arising with the technology stack.
- Plan and deliver Vanguard’s email marketing programme in Europe
- Ensure that all email communication campaigns adhere to local regulation, best practice, and brand guidelines
- Develop, implement, and manage marketing automation campaigns and journeys aligned with our marketing and business objectives
- Oversee the governance and segmentation of marketing data (PII), ensuring that it is accurate and adheres to privacy and data management policies
- Manage the design, build, test and dispatch of HTML email campaigns, automations, and journeys via Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Understand and evaluate campaign metrics. Distribute email campaign performance insights to the marketing team.
- Create recommendations to improve campaign performance and process improvements.
- Engage with Product Owners to troubleshoot and remedy any issues arising with the technology stack.
