We have an exciting new opportunity for a Business Change Manager to join Robert Walters as a Workforce Consultant. As an Employed Workforce Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Robert Walters and will be deployed on an interim or project basis into our clients' organisations, in return we will provide you with an opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional accreditations.
The successful candidate will collaborate with our clients' Operations Business Change Management team and will play a pivotal role in managing and implementing change initiatives for transformational programmes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess, plan, and implement changes while considering the impact on processes, technologies, and people.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, business subject matter experts, and IT project teams, to garner support and facilitate a smooth transition through effective communication and engagement strategies.
- Conduct thorough change impact assessments to understand the implications of proposed changes on processes, systems, and people.
- Develop detailed change plans, considering risk management, resource allocation, timelines, and communication strategies to achieve successful implementation.
- Develop and deliver training programs to upskill teams and stakeholders in new practices, tools, and processes.
- Establish metrics and mechanisms to monitor the effectiveness of changes implemented and gather feedback to continuously improve processes and strategies.
You will be
- Collaborative. Ability to establish, build and maintain strong relationships with a broad set of business and IT stakeholders and with the immediate business change team.
- A great communicator both written and verbal; you understand the importance of maintaining consistently good communication with key partners and stakeholders.
- Knowledgeable and passionate within the field of business change management, with an in-depth understanding of the business change lifecycle and a focus on embedding transformational change.
- A self-starter, with the ability to drive change management activities with minimal support, and to come up with recommendations on how to approach something, rooted in solid knowledge and experience of business change management.
- Proactive, pragmatic, and organised, you are calm under pressure with the ability to break down complex problems and provide innovative solutions.
- Flexibility to adapt style to suit a given situation, and comfortable with a degree of ambiguity.
Ideally over 7 years' experience working in a Business Change Management role. Change Management or associated qualification e.g., PROSCI. Experience working within the Insurance sector essential.
