A leading global financial institution is seeking a Trade Processing Associate to join their London-based team within the Derivatives Clearing Operations department. What you'll do:
* Manage client queries related to derivatives transactions with professionalism and clarity, ensuring timely resolution and excellent service.* Oversee open interest maintenance across all European markets, maintaining accurate records and supporting seamless trade lifecycle management.* Take ownership of end-to-end physical delivery processes for a diverse range of derivative products including commodities, currencies, debt instruments, and emissions.* Facilitate option expiry processes across multiple European markets, ensuring all deadlines are met and procedures are followed meticulously.* Ensure all derivatives business is accurately allocated and claimed in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.* Identify, action, and clear reconciliation breaks by T+1, collaborating closely with colleagues to maintain operational accuracy.* Support brokerage invoicing activities by servicing client positions efficiently and releasing regulatory reports as required.* Monitor real-time central counterparty (CCP) reconciliations to ensure alignment between internal systems and external market data.* Participate in user acceptance testing for new software developments or enhancements, providing feedback to improve operational workflows.* Contribute positively to team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone's input is valued.
What you bring:
