My client, a leading organisation in the real estate sector, is seeking a Management Accountant to join their stunning, brand new offices in Stockport.

You will play a pivotal part in the Corporate Accounting team, contributing to the financial operations and management accounts of one of the UK's largest and most successful property businesses.

What you'll do:
- Prepare monthly management accounts for holding companies and subsidiary property entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all reporting cycles.
- Produce detailed monthly reporting packs for senior management, including property-level variance analysis by collaborating closely with FP&A teams.
- Act as a finance business partner to budget holders by providing insight, support, and constructive challenge where required to drive informed decision-making.
- Support all aspects of the month-end close process by meeting deadlines and delivering precise outputs that underpin organisational success.
- Prepare monthly IFRS balance sheet reconciliations for all entities while maintaining high standards of compliance and transparency.
- Prepare and post journals such as accruals and prepayments, ensuring all entries are supported by appropriate documentation.
- Review GRNI accruals regularly and follow up on any necessary adjustments to maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist the Finance Manager with quarterly consolidation reports by gathering data and maintaining robust reporting structures.
- Support lease accounting processes through detailed income analysis and ensure accurate recognition of transactions related to property disposals and acquisitions.
- Work closely with property teams-including service charge and billing teams-to ensure transactions are correctly reflected in the accounts.
What you bring:
- Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA accountant with proven experience in financial operations within complex organisations.
- Experience working in the Property Industry is highly advantageous
- Proficiency in Excel including vlookups and pivot tables enables you to handle large datasets effectively.
- Excellent data entry skills combined with strong organisational abilities allow you to maintain meticulous records even under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail ensures that all financial outputs are accurate and compliant with relevant standards.
- An enthusiastic approach towards tasks coupled with a positive attitude fosters a pleasant working environment for colleagues.
