A growing and well-established FMCG business is looking for an experienced Supply Planner to join its supply chain team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the right products are available at the right time, supporting excellent customer service while maintaining optimal stock levels across the business.

Working closely with Planning, Procurement, Operations and Customer Service teams, you'll be responsible for managing inventory performance, minimising waste, and driving continuous improvements across stock management processes.

Key Responsibilities Manage inventory levels across a diverse product portfolio.

Monitor stock availability and ensure products are available to meet customer demand.

Analyse sales forecasts, demand patterns and inventory trends to identify risks and opportunities.

Maintain appropriate safety stock levels to balance service and working capital requirements.

Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, shortages and excess inventory.

Support S&OP and planning processes through accurate inventory reporting and analysis.

Collaborate with suppliers, production teams and warehouses to optimise stock flow.

Develop inventory KPIs and provide regular performance updates to key stakeholders.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy and stock optimisation.

About You Previous experience in an Inventory Planning, Supply Planning or Materials Planning role.

Experience working within a food manufacturing, FMCG or distribution environment.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP is highly desirable.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across multiple functions.

Proactive, organised and detail-oriented approach.

Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
