A well-established manufacturing organisation operating in a highly regulated manufacturing environment is looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to support and drive continuous improvement across a core production area. This role sits within operations and focuses on improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while developing people and embedding a strong continuous improvement culture.

The Role: You will work closely with production and support teams to identify inefficiencies, lead improvement activities, and ensure changes are practical, compliant, and sustained. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives using structured CI methodologies
  • Analysing production data (e.g. OEE, waste, deviations) to drive performance improvements
  • Supporting safety and quality investigations, CAPAs, and audits
  • Coordinating skills development and training plans within the value stream
  • Improving Right First Time performance, reducing waste and downtime
  • Supporting new product introductions and operational projects

About You: You are a hands-on improvement professional who enjoys working on the shop floor and partnering with operational teams. This role may be suitable for anyone who has previously worked as a quality/manufacturing/process/production engineer. Key requirements:

  • Experience in continuous improvement within a GMP or regulated manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of health & safety and quality systems
  • Experience in low to medium volume manufacturing
  • Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills
  • Able to communicate effectively and influence cross-functional teams

Desirable: Lean / Six Sigma qualification (e.g. Green Belt), Experience leading improvement projects or teams.
