The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
Reporting to the Head of Legal, key responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive legal support across all aspects of the M&A transactions from pre- and post-acquisition stages.
- Drafting and reviewing transaction documents, conducting due diligence, assessing legal risks, and maintaining records.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders such as Corporate Development, Tax, and Finance teams.
- Ensuring all M&A transactions comply with group policies and procedures.
- Assisting in managing any claims and queries which arise from historical M&A activity.
- Overseeing the appointment and management of external law firms and other advisors.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
- Qualified lawyer in the UK or another common law jurisdiction with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE.
- Training in an international law firm with a primary focus in Corporate / M&A, ideally including experience in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions through the full deal lifecycle.
- Experience with real estate or corporate finance transactions will be desirable.
- High-level organisational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to demonstrate a positive commercial and solutions-focused approach in dealing with a variety of global legal issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
