An award-winning and highly innovative organisation is looking to hire a Senior AI Engineer to join a growing AI and Data Science function delivering cutting-edge AI products into production. This is an opportunity to work on genuinely impactful AI initiatives, developing and deploying large-scale AI applications that sit at the heart of the business. You'll be working on modern Generative AI use cases including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic workflows, conversational AI, recommendation systems and intelligent automation solutions.
Working alongside Data Scientists, Engineers and Product teams, you will take ownership of the full AI lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through to deployment, optimisation and ongoing enhancement.
The Role
- Design and develop production-grade AI applications using both traditional Machine Learning and Generative AI approaches
- Build and deploy RAG systems, LLM-powered applications and agentic workflows
- Develop scalable APIs, microservices and cloud-native AI solutions
- Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Deploy and monitor AI solutions within modern cloud environments
- Drive best practice across MLOps, deployment, governance and model lifecycle management
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, product and analytics teams
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience delivering Machine Learning solutions into production
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG architectures and agentic AI workflows
- Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar
- Strong Python development skills
- Experience building APIs and microservices
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms
- Understanding of MLOps and production deployment practices
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
