Our client is currently on an exciting journey of investment and growth. The business has already experienced ongoing successes and, as part of further development plans, is now seeking to recruit a Senior Commercial FP&A Manager. Reporting directly to a high calibre Commercial Finance Director, the role is suited to those who already possess a strong track record of success across commercial finance and business partnering.

This is a broad, 'meaty' position in which no two days are the same. Key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Direct management of 3 qualified level finance business partners
  • Oversee all short and long term financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
  • Support with identifying new investment opportunities
  • Lead a wide range of ad hoc analysis and financial modelling projects
  • Directly support senior leadership with ad hoc commercial and strategic projects

There is an exciting opportunity to further carve out the commercial finance function and step up to a Head of Commercial Finance role within the short to medium term (depending on performance).

The role is suited to those who possess a minimum of 6-7 years relevant commercial finance experience at post qualified level (ideally 6-10 years but not limited to). A background in ecommerce, retail, consumer or digital sectors would be ideal. Those who truly love adding value from a commercial perspective will thrive in this role. You could be moving from a larger corporate or SME environment; either way, you should enjoy working within a fast paced, collaborative, 'hands on' environment. Previous experience of influencing at a senior level is key.
