What you'll do:
In the capacity of Real Estate Paralegal based in Bristol, you will:
- Provide invaluable assistance to solicitors and associates in managing an extensive portfolio of real estate matters including investment acquisitions, disposals, developments, and asset management projects.
- Assist with the meticulous drafting and review of legal documents such as contracts, leases, licences, and reports pertaining to commercial property transactions.
- Undertake thorough due diligence investigations on properties by examining title documents, searches, planning permissions, and other pertinent materials.
- Engage directly with clients to gather requisite information, furnish updates on transaction progress, and ensure their requirements are met at each stage of the process.
- Coordinate effectively with external parties such as local authorities, surveyors, lenders, and agents to facilitate seamless completion of transactions.
- Maintain precise records of all correspondence and documentation utilising case management systems in strict compliance with regulatory standards.
- Prepare completion statements and provide support with post-completion formalities including registration at HM Land Registry and Companies House filings.
- Contribute meaningfully to business development initiatives by supporting client relationship management activities and participating in team meetings or events.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across various departments to deliver an integrated service on complex or cross-disciplinary matters.
- Remain abreast of developments in property law and best practices by engaging in regular training sessions provided by the firm.
