A leading organisation in Reading is seeking a Shipping Executive to support its logistics team, coordinating import and export operations with a focus on scheduling, documentation and customs compliance. This role offers exposure to international trade, working closely with internal teams and external partners. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate end-to-end import, export and cross-trade shipments
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers and third-party suppliers
- Track shipments and provide updates to internal teams and customers
- Maintain accurate records for audits and operational reporting
- Manage customs entries, including Northern Ireland movements
- Resolve shipment issues, discrepancies and customer queries promptly
- Identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities within logistics
Qualifications:
