An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Engineer to join an established manufacturing business supporting high-reliability aerospace components within a highly regulated environment. This position will play a key role in supporting quality assurance activities across the full product lifecycle, from development through to production and final release. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive compliance, continuous improvement, and robust quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions using structured problem-solving methodologies
  • Support non-conformance investigations and quality improvement activities
  • Conduct internal product and process audits
  • Raise and manage supplier quality notifications
  • Support supplier quality audits and ongoing supplier performance activities
  • Assist with maintaining and improving the Quality Management System
  • Analyse quality data and support KPI development
  • Promote quality awareness and compliance across the business

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Conversant with problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5Why, RCCA etc.)
  • Strong working knowledge of AS9100
  • Experience with AS9102 standards would be advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently
