We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join a dynamic team that is focused on providing enhancements and support for a modern and evolving software distribution platform. This platform is replacing a global file system and is critical for the stability and growth of the firm’s technology infrastructure. The system supports thousands of developers and production applications daily, making it a vital component of our operations.
Role is based in Glasgow – 2 days a week in the office.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Develop, test, and implement technical requirements using Python.
- Participate in the design of future software changes and improvements.
- Enhance and maintain supporting tools.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine solutions.
- Document changes effectively to ensure clear communication across teams.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience working with Python in a development capacity.
- Solid understanding of Unix/Linux environments.
- Strong skills with MongoDB queries and operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
