The predicted salary is between 90000 - 210000 £ per year.
Reporting into the General Counsel, you will play an integral role in the day-to-day activities of the Legal function including:
- Acting as the key point of contact with data privacy queries across the business
- Drafting, negotiating and advising on data privacy clauses for a wide range of commercial agreements
- Working closely with teams across the business including procurement, marketing and sales to advise on minimising privacy risk incidents
- Advising on the handling of DSARs
- Getting involved in matters away from data privacy, in particular advising on contracts relating to platforms, IP licences, T&Cs, SLAs and partnerships
You must be at least 7 years\' PQE and have spent at least four years post-qualification at a nationally-recognised law firm (this is a non-negotiable). You will possess extensive data privacy experience but also have a background in general commercial contracts. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with constantly evolving priorities.
