In the early stages, you would take a more hands-on role, transitioning over time to a greater focus on big-picture, strategic thinking as the team grows. We’re seeking someone with strong experience across a range of analytical areas, including predictive modelling, stakeholder management, and data cleansing, who brings fresh ideas and is confident engaging with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with stakeholders to understand business areas, processes, and priorities.
  • Support and shape big-picture strategy through project work, translating data into strategic insights and strategic goals into analytical solutions.
  • Operate comfortably at both a high-level, strategic view and in detailed analysis, as required.
  • Ensure work aligns with business objectives, proactively seeking clarity and direction where needed.
  • Act as a strong storyteller, guiding stakeholders through insights and supporting understanding and decision-making.
  • Take a proactive approach across all aspects of the role, including problem-solving and information gathering.

As a Principal Analyst, You Will Bring

  • Experience leading, managing, or mentoring teams, setting a strong example and driving high performance.
  • Excellent, confident communication skills, with the ability to adapt style and approach to different audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management capability, building effective and trusted relationships.
  • A solid technical and analytical background, including data analysis tools and model development.
  • Experience developing data models such as segmentation and predictive models.
  • Experience building reports and BI solutions using tools such as Power BI or Tableau, with strong data visualisation skills.
