An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business. Backed by 10+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, you will play a key role within the engineering team, driving equipment reliability, supporting continuous improvement, and mentoring junior engineers.
Key Duties
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a range of plant machinery and equipment.
- Provide a rapid and effective response to breakdowns, minimising downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve faults across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Take ownership of more complex fault-finding and recurring issues, applying root cause analysis.
- Support continuous improvement activities, including upgrades and process optimisation.
- Work closely with production to ensure maximum machine performance and uptime.
