An established manufacturing business is seeking a Planning Coordinator to join its Supply Chain team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive planning professional looking to develop their career within a fast-paced production environment.
Working closely with production, logistics, procurement and customer service teams, you will play a key role in ensuring production plans are executed effectively, materials are available when required, and customer demand is delivered on time and in full.
This is a FTC role until February 2026.
Key Responsibilities Create and maintain production schedules to support customer demand.
Monitor order requirements and adjust plans to maximise operational efficiency.
Coordinate with production teams to ensure capacity is utilised effectively.
Work closely with procurement and inventory teams to manage material availability.
Track supply chain constraints and proactively communicate potential issues.
Analyse planning data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
Update and maintain ERP system records and planning information.
Support inventory management activities to ensure optimum stock levels.
Liaise with customer service teams regarding order priorities and delivery requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across planning and supply chain operations.
About You Previous experience within production planning, supply chain planning, scheduling or logistics coordination.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
Comfortable working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to planning.
SAP experience would be preferred.
