Seeking an experienced Accountant Bookkeeper to join an established company based in Central London on a permanent, part-time basis as their sole finance team member, owning end to end finance.

Key
Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day banking operations, including reconciliations for multi-currency accounts, and post entries to sales, purchase, and nominal ledgers.
Process invoice payments with appropriate approval.
Generate monthly sales reports from invoices and input them into accounting software.
Allocate and input all purchase invoices accurately.
Perform manual allocation of cost of sales, stock accrual entries, and maintain additional spreadsheets for stock reconciliation and annual adjustments.
Produce management accounts and update profit loss forecasts regularly.
Handle payment and allocation of credit card accounts and reimburse personal expenses.
Process salary payments accurately and on time.
Prepare VAT returns, including specialised VAT entries unique to the industry, ensuring timely submission to tax authorities.
