Our client based in Staffordshire is in need of a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join their team. The role is paying up to £45,000 (DOE) and is fully office based.
As a Management Accountant based at the Stafford headquarters, you will play an integral role within the Sales Finance team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:
- Preparing detailed management accounts.
- Supporting budgeting activities.
- Delivering insightful variance analysis that informs business decisions.
- Working closely with a recently promoted Financial Controller, providing dependable support while managing your own workload.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the Financial Controller by providing insightful analysis on variances between actuals and budgeted figures.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes by identifying areas for efficiency gains.
- Liaise with auditors during annual audits by preparing required documentation and responding promptly to queries.
- Produce regular reports for senior management that clearly communicate key financial metrics, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues across different teams to share knowledge and resolve issues.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as required by management.

What you bring:
- Proven experience from previous positions managing month-end processes and contributing to budgeting cycles.
- A recognised accountancy qualification (such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA) or significant progress towards one is highly desirable.
