As part of their continued success, they are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor - 12M FTC.

Location: Manchester - ONLY 2 DAYS IN OFFICE REQUIRED

Contract Type: 12-month fixed-term contract

Salary: £55,000 - £66,000

As a Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Solicitor, you will play a key role in managing a varied caseload of personal injury, clinical negligence, and claims against public authorities. Working within a supportive team environment, you will deliver high-quality legal advice while maintaining excellent client care standards. This position offers hybrid working arrangements, with two days in a newly refurbished city-centre office featuring state-of-the-art facilities (including an on-site café and free gym access) and three days working from home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury, clinical negligence, and claims against public authorities.
  • Provide clear, empathetic legal advice to clients throughout all stages of their matters.
  • Draft legal documents with precision and negotiate settlements where appropriate.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, medical experts, opponents, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while keeping accurate records of casework activities.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to share knowledge and deliver outstanding client service.
  • Contribute positively to the team's inclusive culture by supporting less experienced colleagues and participating in knowledge-sharing sessions.
About you:
  • Qualified solicitor with demonstrable experience handling personal injury or clinical negligence matters.
  • Experience working on claims against public authorities or involvement in abuse/human rights litigation is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with outstanding client care abilities.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands effectively.
  • Commercial awareness when advising clients or negotiating settlements.
