We are recruiting for a well-established, high-growth FMCG business who are continuing to expand their UK presence and strengthen their consumer connection. We are looking for a Marketing Insights Manager to drive data-led decision-making and uncover new opportunities for brand and category growth.
The Role
As the Marketing Insights Manager, you will become the analytical and strategic engine behind major marketing and commercial decisions. You will lead consumer understanding, category insights, and market intelligence, helping shape where we play, how we win, and how we differentiate in a dynamic FMCG landscape.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading all consumer, category, and shopper insight programmes
- Creating compelling narratives using Nielsen/IRI/Kantar/YouGov and other key data sources
- Influencing brand strategy across Marketing, Innovation, Sales, and Leadership teams
- Shaping long-term category vision and identifying growth opportunities
- Managing research agencies and end-to-end insight projects
- Simplifying complex data into clear, actionable insight for senior stakeholders
- Tracking market dynamics, competitive activity, and consumer behaviour trends
About You
You are inquisitive, commercially aware, and passionate about understanding what drives consumers. You will likely bring:
- Insight, category management, analytics, or research experience (FMCG experience highly desirable)
- Strong experience using Nielsen/IRI/Kantar panels and consumer/shopping data
- The ability to turn data into stories that influence decisions
- A strategic mindset paired with hands-on analytical strength
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-influencing skills
- A proactive, positive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
