About the Role
Our client is a high-growth business operating in the construction sector, delivering large & complex projects across the UK. They are entrepreneurial, delivery-led, and fast-paced, with procurement playing a pivotal role in enabling project success. They are now seeking a Junior Buyer to join their expanding team. This is a development-focused role aimed at high-potential early-career professionals who want to build a career as a specialist in subcontract procurement.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the procurement team in the management of subcontractors and suppliers
- Analysing data and contributing to cost management and reporting
- Learning structured processes and systems used in large-scale, high-value projects
- Working alongside experienced procurement professionals to develop commercial and subcontracting expertise
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
- Approximately 12 months post-graduate experience preferred
- Exposure to large, structured multinational environments (e.g., automation, automotive, aerospace, utilities, manufacturing)
- Strong capability in data analysis and using systems/software
