Financial Crime Operations Specialist - Quality Control
Location: Manchester
Role Type: Permanent
Work Setup: Hybrid - 3 days in the office (Tuesday to Thursday)

What You'll Do
- Conduct QC reviews covering CDD, EDD, SoW assessments, sanctions screening and transaction monitoring
- Provide root cause analysis and deliver actionable recommendations for improvement
- Partner with stakeholders to drive consistent decision-making and strengthen controls
- Support audits, regulatory engagements and remediation projects
- Monitor performance metrics, escalating systemic issues or regulatory concerns
What You Bring
- Extensive experience in AML/KYC, CDD, EDD and financial crime reviews within financial services
- Background in quality control, assurance or audit within a regulated environment
- Knowledge of financial crime regulatory frameworks, including AML, sanctions and PEP requirements
- Analytical skills to identify weaknesses and perform root cause analysis
- Ability to influence stakeholders and deliver objective challenges constructively
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Professional certification (eg, ICA, ACAMS) is desirable
