About the Role:

As a Risk & Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring that professional standards and risk management are integrated across the legal services. Reporting to the Senior Risk & Compliance Officers, you will have exposure to a variety of compliance and risk-related tasks, making this an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing checks, results and providing guidance to the business on findings.
  • Monitoring and addressing queries logged in the compliance portal, offering advice as required.
  • Assisting with the management of the compliance monitoring programme by conducting compliance audits.
  • Supporting Senior Risk & Compliance Officers and the AML Manager with ad hoc tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage workloads effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Proactive and able to use their initiative when solving problems.
  • Proficient in IT tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office packages.
  • Ideally a background in compliance; however, someone with strong administrative experience and graduates with a passion for compliance will be considered.
