Responsibilities of the Management Accountant
As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of the organisation. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing monthly management accounts, conducting regular budgeting and forecasting exercises, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will also analyse the company’s financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement. Working closely with other departments, you will offer your expert financial guidance and support.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and present them to senior management
- Lead strategic budgeting and forecasting initiatives to drive financial planning and decision-making
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements relating to financial control, reporting and obligations
- Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
- Work closely with other departments to provide financial guidance and support
