Exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Management Accountant to join a growing international business at a key point of transformation. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of month-end reporting while providing insight across margin, inventory, working capital and performance. With a finance restructure underway and further growth anticipated, this is a role offering genuine visibility, responsibility and development potential.
What you'll do
- Own the month-end process, including management accounts, P&L, balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow reporting.
- Provide meaningful commentary on performance, variances, costs and margins.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and monthly business reviews.
- Monitor working capital and cash flow.
- Maintain strong financial controls and reconciliations, supporting audit and compliance requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, systems and reporting.
- Work closely with the Financial Controller and wider business to turn financial data into actionable insight.
What you'll bring
- Newly qualified or finalist-level CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
- At least 2 years' experience in management accounting, financial analysis or financial control.
- A commercially minded approach, with the confidence to question numbers and understand the drivers behind performance.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP/financial systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across finance and non-finance teams.
- Most importantly, the appetite to take ownership, develop and progress within a growing finance function.
Package & working pattern
- Salary: Β£45,000 - Β£55,000 per annum, plus bonus, private medical & enhanced pension.
- Genuine scope to develop alongside a finance function undergoing significant change and growth.
- Hybrid: 4 days a week on site.
