We are partnering with a leading international financial services organisation to recruit a Payroll Specialist on a temp to perm basis to join their HR Operations team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high performing environment with exposure to complex payroll processes and international stakeholders. London based - Hybrid working 3 days in office.
Reporting to the Head of Payroll, you will play a key role in delivering an accurate and compliant payroll service for a large employee population. You'll be responsible for end to end payroll processing, statutory reporting, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the monthly payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of salaries, bonuses, overtime, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation including HMRC, National Insurance, pensions (auto-enrolment), SSP and SMP.
- Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Handle statutory reporting (including RTI submissions, year end processes, P11D and related reporting).
- Respond to and resolve payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Support payroll reconciliations, ensuring accuracy between systems, payments, and records.
