Payroll Administrator - Senior Associate

Location: London

What you'll do

  • Audit, analyse and reconcile payroll data from multiple sources, identifying discrepancies and recommending appropriate corrections.
  • Administer base and non-base pay components, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and regulatory compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve complex payroll, compensation and benefits queries, using system reports to identify issues and trends.
  • Test payroll system enhancements and new requirements, developing test cases and validating data accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and colleagues on payroll processes, system functionality, calculations and complex transactions.
  • Contribute to payroll-related projects and process improvements, supporting greater operational efficiency.

What you bring

  • Payroll experience within a financial services or similarly regulated environment, ideally supporting medium-sized organisations.
  • Experience managing global and outsourced payroll across different jurisdictions, including knowledge of local payroll requirements.
  • Strong end-to-end payroll experience, covering the full payroll life cycle from data input and validation through to reconciliation and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Experience supporting expatriate payroll and related employee compensation matters.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience; Accounting or Finance background preferred.
  • FPC, CPP or another relevant financial/payroll qualification would be advantageous.
