Our growing 3PL client is seeking a Key Account Manager to play a pivotal role in nurturing and developing customer relationships. This full-time position is based in Northamptonshire.

What you'll do:

  • Implement and sustain the Customer Engagement System, including development of the strategic account plan.
  • Support the customer to maintain competitive advantage through its operations and services.
  • Understand at a strategic level the customer's business and its potential challenges and opportunities.
  • Identify initiatives that enhance the service offerings to the customer and maximise efficiency.
  • Lead and encourage the development of key relationships throughout the account team.
  • Coordinate all renewal activity to ensure successful retention of customer contracts at expected levels of profitability.

What you bring:

  • Experience within a Key Account Management position in a 3PL environment.
  • Ability to interact at senior level with high impact and credibility.
  • Experience in building and developing relationships across all levels and functions.
  • Strong strategic planning skills with a bias towards action and execution.
  • Track record of developing and delivering commercially successful account growth.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes is desirable, as is an understanding of continuous improvement or lean methodologies.
