The Talent Acquisition Researcher is responsible for market mapping and sourcing external candidates onsite for our client. The Researcher will report to the Front Office Sourcing Lead and support by hiring for roles from Analyst to Managing Director level within the Global Markets Division through the proactive development of candidates for open and future roles, with an emphasis on supporting the firm's Diversity Equity and Inclusion goals. The Researcher will also conduct market analysis and research key trends with the aim of producing content for senior internal stakeholders.
About The Role: The client is a global financial services group with an integrated network spanning approximately 30 countries. By connecting markets East & West, the client serves individuals, institutions, corporates, and governments through three business divisions: Wealth Management, Investment Management, and Wholesale (Global Markets and Investment Banking).
What You Will Be Doing: The Researcher will support, and eventually independently operate, in a range of activities, including:
- Conducting in-depth research and market mapping to identify high-calibre candidates for current and future Global Markets positions.
- Maintaining a comprehensive candidate database, appropriately classifying and tagging data.
- Supporting delivery on a diverse range of search projects by preparing and formatting market maps and search update reports.
- Facilitating many aspects of the recruitment process: managing candidate engagement, interview coordination, candidate presentations to hiring managers, soliciting manager and candidate feedback, and project updates.
- Gathering and synthesising market intelligence from multiple sources to support strategic talent acquisition decisions and presenting this in a visually impactful way.
- Participating in briefing meetings with hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
- Ensuring process excellence and compliance: maintaining data accuracy across all systems, achieving SLA targets, and upholding client policy adherence.
