The role is hybrid based in the company's UK headquarters in Surrey. 3 days per week are required in the office (Tue/Wed/Thu). Start Date: early April.
The position focuses on employment law work in Sweden, Finland, Romania and the Czech Republic, so experience of matters in at least 1-2 of these territories is required. You must possess the right to work in the UK; sponsorship cannot be provided.
Responsibilities- You will act as primary employment counsel for operations in Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic, and Romania and provide additional support in the UK, Ireland and Switzerland on an ad hoc basis.
- Manage day-to-day employment law matters, including hiring, performance management and termination, wage and hour rules, disability accommodation, harassment, discrimination and bullying, contingent worker issues, investigations and related litigation.
- Support policy reviews and ensure policies are as globally consistent as possible in the relevant territories, as well as the management of investigations and complex employment issues.
- Experience in employment law matters in Sweden, Finland, Romania and/or the Czech Republic; experience in at least 1-2 of these territories is required.
- Right to work in the UK; sponsorship cannot be provided.
- Start date: early April.
