Robert Walters is working in partnership with a leading international business with operations across the UK, Ireland, and Europe, specializing in the distribution of essential products and services that support a wide range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are keen to appoint an experienced Cyber Security Specialist on a 6-month contract to be based out of the Birmingham offices on a hybrid basis.
Duties:
- Adequate Implementation of security controls - XDR
- Escalation point for security tickets raised in ITSM and Incident Management Portals
- Implementation/Operation of InfoSec processes, Threat Hunting, detection, monitoring and incident response
- Delivery of cyber security projects, implementation of new cyber security tooling and threat informed system projects
- Delivery group offensive security programme
- Provide advice/consultancy and support to group on management of controls, compliance and technical standards
- Implementation/Maintenance of technical cyber security controls - XDR, vulnerability scanning, privileged access management
- Identify/Testing cyber security technologies
- Support with controls, IAM, patch management and security event monitoring
- Identify cyber threats, hunting and exposure
- Involved in InfoSec incident management process - preparation, containment, analysis and response
- Implementation of new cyber security tooling and threat-informed systems
Experience:
- AWS, GCP, Splunk, Log Rhythm, Qualys
- Implementing security technology controls, secure config and implementation of security projects
- Information security risks management, controls and frameworks (NIST, CIS, PCI-DSS)
- IT Systems, Networking
- XDR - Palo Alto Cortex
- Microsoft Security: Defender of Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps, Office 365, Azure AD, Microsoft Purview, Azure Sentinel SIEM/SOAR
