As an Event Processing Officer, you will ensure the smooth operation of corporate action event management within a globally recognised asset management firm. Your day-to-day activities will involve meticulous handling of complex financial instruments using advanced systems such as Simcorp GAIN and CAM.

You will be responsible for reconciling entitlements with precision, collaborating with fund managers and operations teams to guarantee accurate data flow.

What You'll Do
  • Manage the full lifecycle of Corporate Action events across equities, bonds, contracts for difference (CFDs), and repurchase agreements using Simcorp GAIN and CAM systems, including scrubbing data, notifying Fund Managers, capturing elections, and posting results.
  • Reconcile cash and stock entitlements related to Corporate Action events, investigating any reconciliation exceptions thoroughly to ensure accuracy.
  • Handle non-standard complex events such as restructures and lock-up agreements with careful attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Proactively liaise with Fund Managers and other teams within Operations to ensure all information is accurately reflected in relevant systems.
  • Engage actively in testing new systems and workflows, documenting procedures meticulously to support ongoing project work within the team and across the wider Operations Unit.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues in London and Singapore to maintain high standards of operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support the implementation of process improvements by providing feedback on existing workflows and participating in cross-team initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices relating to corporate actions processing through regular training sessions and peer learning.
