Job Description

A leading global financial institution is seeking an Assistant Vice President Liquidity Reporting to join their London-based Regulatory Reporting team. This role offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal part in the production and enhancement of regulatory liquidity reporting for multiple UK entities, ensuring compliance with evolving requirements and supporting internal governance.

What you'll do:

  • Produce regulatory liquidity reporting for UK entities, maintaining rigorous controls across all outputs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal governance requirements.
  • Deliver precise and timely external and internal liquidity reports supported by thorough business analysis and clear management information.
  • Support the ongoing enhancement of liquidity reporting processes by identifying improvement opportunities and collaborating closely with Change teams to implement these enhancements.
  • Build and nurture effective relationships with stakeholders including Front Office, Risk Management, Treasury, and other relevant departments to facilitate change initiatives and communicate liquidity-related matters.
  • Assist in managing stakeholder communications regarding liquidity regulatory reporting across various entities within the EMEA region.
  • Provide regular updates on liquidity reporting progress to management, escalating issues or risks when necessary to ensure appropriate attention or intervention.
  • Contribute to the monitoring of key ratios on a daily basis as part of internal reporting responsibilities.
  • Support the production of COREP submissions (including Own Funds, Large Exposures, Liquidity), Pillar 3 reports, PRA/FCA Prudential returns, and Bank of England Statistical Returns.
  • Participate in change management initiatives aimed at enhancing reporting processes while ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Offer guidance and support to other branches or entities across EMEA as required by the scope of the role.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is required for this position.
  • Industry experience gained within a comparable financial institution is essential for success in this role.
  • Strong knowledge of liquidity regulations combined with hands-on experience in reporting key liquidity ratios and producing regulatory returns is vital.
  • Good understanding of banking and capital markets products will enable you to navigate complex reporting requirements effectively.
  • Proven ability to manage large volumes of financial and risk data accurately under pressure without compromising attention to detail is highly valued.
  • Experience in delivering liquidity reports within tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards is important.
  • Demonstrated skill in communicating complex change requirements clearly to key stakeholders is necessary for supporting process improvements.
  • Change management experience-including implementation-is desirable for driving enhancements in reporting processes.
  • Excellent time management skills are needed to balance multiple priorities efficiently within demanding timelines.
