Overview
Learning, Culture & Engagement Lead at Robert Walters . This role aligns learning, development, culture, and engagement initiatives with strategic priorities and reports to the Chief People Officer. The successful candidate will support both UK-based colleagues and the extended international workforce to thrive by ensuring the right skills, knowledge, and environment.
Base pay range: Β£65K β Β£75K. Location: Salford Quays. Contract: Permanent or Fixed-Term Contract (depending on expertise and fit). Hours: Mon-Fri, 9-5. Interview: 2 stages β 1 virtual, F2F.
Responsibilities
- Cultural Leadership : Develop and deliver a strategy for cultural transformation aligned with business objectives. Foster a high-performance, customer-centric culture where leaders enable their teams to serve customers effectively.
- Learning & Development : Shape and implement innovative training initiatives across all levels, internally and with outsourced partners, aligned to strategic goals.
- Diversity, Equity, Belonging & Inclusion (DEBI) : Lead the DEBI plan while continually assessing organisational health and implementing effective strategies.
- Employee Engagement : Drive engagement through tools and measurement strategies to enhance overall satisfaction.
- Thought Leadership : Provide expert advice on best practices in culture transformation and DEBI.
- Collaboration : Work with People & Culture teams, business leaders, internal communications, and external partners to develop solutions that meet strategic aims with value and service excellence.
What we\βre looking for / Qualifications
- Minimum of five years\β experience in senior learning or organisational development roles within fast-paced environments (ideally tech-focused or contact centre settings).
- CIPD qualification (MCIPD or FCIPD); additional certifications in coaching or psychometrics are highly desirable.
- Proven expertise in designing leadership development programs that align with cultural transformation goals.
- Experience embedding agile learning approaches using modern technologies to support change.
- Strong track record of building data-driven employee engagement strategies.
- Passion for integrating DEBI into leadership and culture initiatives.
- Exceptional collaboration skills with the ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on delivery.
