We are looking for contract Lead Power BI developers (x2) to work for a UK leading MSP firm working with customers in public, private and retail sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the business to support various projects and solutions.
- Report/dashboard development within Power BI in alignment with captured customer needs and best practice UI/UX approaches.
- Contribute to departmental best practice standards documentation.
- Create innovative solutions for clients and for internal IP.
- Utilize problem‑solving skills to understand process pain points and troubleshoot challenges.
- Design end‑to‑end solutions that improve engagement, productivity, and knowledge sharing.
Person, Skills & Experience:
- Confident working individually on projects as well as part of a team to support roadmap and governance processes.
- Expert in Power BI report/dashboard development and visualisation.
- Knowledge of data warehouses, ETL and other Azure applications.
- Strong business‑to‑technology translation skills for identifying ways to apply analytics to help customers improve performance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of Azure Data Factory pipelines or experience in Microsoft Fabric would be advantageous.
Applicants for Lead Power BI developer must be UK based and have an up‑to‑date portfolio of work in Power BI that they can demo during a Teams interview. No sponsorship will be offered and we can’t work with 3rd parties/offshore companies.
