I am currently working with a boutique consultancy that is looking to grow their current team of data-focused consultants.
In this Junior Data Consultant role, your responsibilities will be split between implementation of client projects and delivering training to clients on the use of Power BI and other BI tools like Alteryx and Tableau.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas:
- Work as part of a close-knit team to ensure timely delivery on client projects.
- Create on-premise and cloud-based data warehouse solutions in line with client requirements.
- Create insightful visualizations to aid clients in data-driven decision-making activities.
- Extract data from various sources, undertake the needed transformations, and load into Power BI.
- Deliver training programs and workshops to external stakeholders using in-house Power BI training guides.
This is a salaried role paying up to £37,500 per year depending on experience. This is a fully remote opportunity with some travel to client sites as and when required. You may also be required to attend the company offices in St Helier, Jersey for workshops, training, or team events.
To be successful in this Junior Data Consultant role, you will have:
- Some experience creating insights, dashboards, and reports with Power BI.
- SQL skills.
- Some data warehousing experience.
- ETL experience with tools such as SSIS or Azure Data Factory.
