An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Accounts Receivable Assistant to join a well-established construction & planning consultancy. Based in Central London, this role offers a competitive salary of £28,000 – £30,000. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, supporting the Senior Credit Controller and ensuring timely and accurate processing of client cash receipts. This is an excellent chance to grow your career within a supportive and inclusive environment., As a Junior Accounts Receivable Assistant, you will play a crucial role in strengthening the Accounts team. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Senior Credit Controller by ensuring the timely and accurate processing of client cash receipts. You will also handle cash allocation queries effectively and produce regular reports. Additionally, you will liaise with various internal and external stakeholders for remittances. Your role will also involve performing other administrative tasks as needed.

  1. Processing cash received onto the accounts system

  2. Dealing with cash allocation queries in an effective and timely manner

  3. Producing daily, weekly and monthly reports

  4. Liaising internally and externally for remittances

  5. Performing other ad hoc admin duties as and when required

  6. Ensuring the timely and accurate processing of client cash receipts coupled with all associated AR administration and reporting

The ideal candidate for the Junior Accounts Receivable Assistant position is someone who brings enthusiasm and a ‘can do’ attitude. You should have the ability to organise and prioritise your workload effectively to meet deadlines. Your strong attention to detail, proactive approach, and flexibility will enable you to excel in this role. Good communication skills are essential as you’ll need to build relationships both internally and externally. Basic or intermediate knowledge of Excel is also required.
