Job Description
IS Project Manager / £500pd Outside IR35 / 6 Months / Manchester (Hybrid – Once every 2 weeks)
We're looking for an experienced IS Project Manager to lead a major initiative to replace our client's backup solution. This is a high-impact contract role managing a complex technical project involving multiple teams, stakeholders, and suppliers.
You will:
- Lead the delivery of the backup replacement project from tender through to implementation, ensuring alignment with business needs, timelines, budgets, and benefits.
- Run a structured open tender process in line with procurement standards to select the optimal enterprise backup solution.
- Create and maintain project plans, business cases, board papers, RAID logs, finance trackers , and all supporting documentation.
- Facilitate strong governance and communication channels , providing clear updates to stakeholders at all levels.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies effectively.
Experience needed:
- Has led projects implementing backup solutions , ideally enterprise-scale across on-premise and cloud environments.

Have hands-on experience with Rubrik, Commvault, Veeam or Cohesity .

Have extensive experience managing technical projects, including coordination of 3rd parties.
